Specific Initiatives

Results from health exams and an internal survey revealed that our results substantially exceeded the nationwide average in the three areas of obesity, hepatic function, and smoking habits. The COPRO Group has therefore established these as priority issues and is taking steps to improve health.

Priority issue #1: Improving the percentage of employees who smoke

(1) Conduct periodic in-house surveys to ascertain smoking rates and actual conditions
(2) Provide health guidance on the harms of smoking
(3) Provide health education by public health nurses
(4) No smoking during working hours
(5) Provide subsidies for smoking cessation treatment

Priority issue #2: Preventing lifestyle-related diseases/illnesses
(1) Introduce pedometer application (Campaigns are held 3 times a year)*1
(2) Implement the Health Challenge Program *2
(Program to expand the "circle of health promotion" with the aim of making it a habit)
(3) In-house sales of smoothies
(A portion of the proceeds from the sales of smoothies is donated to a children's cafeteria in Aichi Prefecture.)
