Architectural construction management | Architectural construction management refers to the construction management and design assistance operations that accompany new building and repair work in high-rise buildings, condominiums, commercial facilities and factories. |
ATMOS CO., LTD. | In April 2021, ATMOS Co., Ltd. was grouped as a wholly owned consolidated subsidiary of COPRO-HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., and on October 1, 2023, the company merged VALUE ARC CONSULTING Co., Ltd. and changed its name to COPRO TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd.. |
CAD operator | CAD operators perform computer aided design (CAD) operations for construction, civil engineering, facilities and plants. |
Charge increase | A charge increase refers to an increase in the contract amount per engineer. For example, we negotiate charge increases with client companies according to an improvement in the skills of engineers when extending dispatch contracts. |
Civil engineering construction management | Civil engineering construction management refers to the construction management and design assistance operations that accompany roadworks, levee protection works, reclamation work, tunnel work and bridge work. |
Construction engineer dispatching | We dispatch engineers mainly to the construction industry. The types of employees we dispatch include CAD operators in addition to site supervisors in the construction, civil engineering, facility and plant fields. |
Construction management | Construction management is the management of everything related to construction work. This includes undertaking procedures and preparing documents for government offices in addition to construction at work sites, budgeting and safety aspects. Site supervisors draft a construction plan based on a design plans made at a construction site and then undertake management operations to ensure the progress of the construction work as planned. |
Contract amount per engineer | The contract amount per engineer is the monetary amount of dispatch contracts for client companies per engineer. This is the base of net sales in our company. |

COPRO GLOBALS PTE. LTD. | COPRO GLOBALS PTE. LTD. was established to collect information and build business strategy functions in ASEAN (Southeast Asia) to develop personnel and to realize personnel dispatch and placement businesses locally, however, the company dissolved on February, 2024. |

Equal pay for equal work | The revised Worker Dispatch Law came into effect on April 1, 2020. The major revision is that dispatch agencies select one of the methods below to achieve equal pay for equal work. This is to eliminate unreasonable differences in working conditions between regular workers employed by client companies (permanent full-time employees) and dispatched workers. Our Group has selected the dispatch agency labor-management agreement method in (2). Facility construction management | Facility construction management refers to the construction management and design assistance operations of facility work (air conditioning, sanitation and electricity) that accompany new building and repair work in high-rise buildings, condominiums, commercial facilities and factories. |

Machine design engineer dispatching business | We dispatch development and design engineers mainly to major companies in the manufacturing industry in Japan. |
Management staffs | We refer to dispatched employees as “engineers” and other employees as “management staffs.” |
Matching | We call it “matching” when we search for qualified personnel from among our existing engineers or new jobseekers scheduled for recruitment in response to job offers from a client company and then connects them to work at that client company. The ability to ensure agreement between the conditions sought by the client company and the personnel is the key to the accuracy of the matching. This affects customer satisfaction and the retention rate of engineers. |

Non-GAAP operating profit | It is a profit measure of essential performance which is calculated by adding depreciation, amortization of goodwill and share-based remuneration expenses back to operating profit. |

Operating ratio | The operating ratio is an indicator that shows the ratio of engineers assigned to client companies. This increases or decreases depending on the acquisition of paid leave and special leave in addition to the number of people on standby. We calculate this with the following formula. Operating ratio = Number of engineers assigned to client companies at the end of the period ÷ Number of engineers at the end of the period × 100 |

Personnel dispatching | Personnel dispatching is defined as follows in the Worker Dispatch Law: “causing a worker(s) employed by one person so as to be engaged in work for another person under the instruction of the latter, while maintaining his/her employment relationship with the former.” In other words, it means workers employed by our company work for other companies under their commands and directions while maintaining an employment relationship with us. |
Plant construction management | Plant construction management refers to the construction management and design assistance operations that accompany new building and repair work in various plants (manufacturing factories of steel, chemicals, textiles, electricity, gas and petrochemicals and foods). |

Recurring revenue model | We refer to the business model in which we continuously generate revenue through infrastructure and mechanisms as a “recurring revenue model.” The personnel dispatching business we engage in involves client companies paying a dispatching fee to us every month during the dispatch contract period. Therefore, our net sales also rise in proportion to the increase in the number of engineers enrolled with us. |
Retention rate | The retention rate is an indicator that shows the rate at which we have retained the engineers who have joined our company. We calculate this with the following formula. Retention rate = Number of engineers at the end of the quarter one year later ÷ Number of engineers at the end of the quarter a year ago × 100 |

Scheduled personnel placement dispatching | Scheduled personnel placement dispatching refers to when a dispatch agency dispatches a worker to a client company under a plan for that worker to become a full-time employee or contract employee of that client company. |
Sub-contractor | A sub-contractor refers to a company which undertakes work in specialized fields (e.g., construction work and facilities) from a general contractor that serves as the prime contractor. |
Super general contractor | We refer to especially large companies among the many general contractors as “super general contractors.” Generally, it indicates five companies: Kajima Corporation, Taisei Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, Obayashi Corporation and Takenaka Corporation. |
